My name is Dave Welch.  After many years of searching for the ministry that God would place me in, I found my calling through Prison Ministry.  I am currenty serving at the Juvenile Detention Center (JDC) on Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley. 

Twice a week I go into the JDC to share with youth who are hungry to hear the word.  Hope is at a high level where change is desired, and the Good News is heard with open hearts. 

As I sow and water each week, it’s very exciting to see and hear God’s Spirit alive in these young people challenging/offering them to step up to His call.  I am honored to serve Him in this ministry.

Please lift up all our youth who have made mistakes in their lives, as well as their families.  Pray for God to reveal Himeself to them through the weekly teaching of His Word and that they will be drawn to Him. They really need our support.
